NEEP’s training workshops are a cost-effective, efficient way of providing training to your professional staff.

They can be held in your state or a bordering state to minimize travel time and allow for the building of relationships with other government agencies and personnel. NEEP also provides virtual trainings on a variety of topics and presentations on case studies and enforcement activities.

Multi-Day Practical Workshops

NEEP has developed and deployed multi-day training workshops that provide classroom sessions coupled with practical field exercises.
 

The classroom sessions provide the background information that will be used in the field. The field sessions then apply what is introduced in the classroom providing hands-on training.

Advanced Environmental Crimes Training Program (AECTP)

Through a partnership with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), NEEP is able to provide access to the two-week federal Advanced Environmental Crimes Training Program (AECTP). Topics in this program include

  • Evidence gathering and preservation
  • Surveillance
  • Interview skills
  • Preparation and execution of search warrants
  • Courtroom testimony and court procedures
